01How I work

About

I am a fullstack developer with more than 5 years of experience (since 2019, including two internships), working mainly with Node.js, TypeScript, React/Next.js and PostgreSQL. I started with a Node.js backend internship while at university, then worked on React frontends and NestJS backends, and grew into owning whole products.

Most recently I was lead developer at Conexa, owning most of two SaaS products: a B2B networking & CRM platform with a web app, a mobile app and an AI assistant; and an e-commerce operations platform integrated with Shopee, with an admin console for the operations team.

I handle deployment myself: Docker images, CI/CD with GitLab CI and GitHub Actions, Linux servers, separate staging and production, logs and incident fixes.

I use Claude Code every day, but I write down what a feature must do first, then check the result with strict TypeScript, tests and code review. AI makes me faster; the technical decisions stay mine.

Specification first

Every feature starts as a written description of behaviour and failure modes. That is what makes AI-assisted implementation safe instead of chaotic.

One source of truth

Important rules such as permissions, limits and billing live in one place so web, mobile and the backend share them — no second copy to drift.

Verified by tests

Strict TypeScript, input validation, unit tests for logic and Playwright for payment flows. Fast delivery is only safe behind a check.

Written-first async

Daily written status updates, self-scoped tickets from ambiguous requirements, code review and CI as the handoff gate.

Remote collaboration

Experience

  1. Fullstack Engineer @ Conexa

    Jan 2025 – Sep 2026 · Remote

    Product

Two SaaS products: a B2B networking & CRM platform (web, mobile app, backend) and an e-commerce operations platform integrated with Shopee.

    • Lead developer in a small team, owning most of the product: backend, database, integrations, deployment and production support.
    • Built REST APIs in Node.js/TypeScript for a Next.js web app and a Flutter app (live on the App Store and Google Play), both using the same API.
    • Designed the PostgreSQL database on Supabase: schema, migrations, JWT sign-in and permissions so each user only sees their own data.
    • Realtime chat over WebSocket written in Go, with push notifications; Stripe payments via webhooks and Apple/Google in-app purchase reconciliation.
    • An agentic AI assistant in the app (OpenAI, Claude) with 13 tools working on the user’s data under the app’s own permissions; an MCP server so outside agents can connect.
    • E-commerce platform: Shopee integration (orders, stock, ads, reports), a Next.js admin console, and the Node.js backend upgraded to Go step by step without downtime.
    • Packaged services with Docker, CI/CD on GitLab CI and GitHub Actions, deployed to Linux servers with separate staging and production.

  2. Middle Full-Stack Developer @ AZPLAYS

    Aug 2023 – Jan 2025 · Vietnam

    Product

Built and ran web products and automation tools; led and supported both frontend and backend work, and optimised code for speed and stable performance.

    • Built full-stack features with Next.js on the frontend and NestJS on the backend, integrating several databases and third-party services.
    • Wrote some APIs in Python/FastAPI for data processing; Redis for caching, Docker for deployment.
    • Integrated ChatGPT into the product and built automation tools for the operations team.
    • Optimised code and queries so the system ran faster and more reliably.
    • TypeScript
    • Next.js
    • NestJS
    • Redis
    • Docker
    • ChatGPT API
  3. Middle Backend Developer @ Hitek Group JSC

    Aug 2022 – Aug 2023 · Vietnam

    Outsource

Maintained and extended client project systems, designed APIs, reviewed code and gave technical guidance — notably two social networking apps, Fansome and Tingle.

    • Maintained and extended the project systems; took in and resolved requests from related project units and supported them when needed.
    • Took part in ideation, technical design, implementation and testing of features; designed APIs between client applications and backend services on scalable architecture principles.
    • Reviewed code and gave technical guidance to 1–2 junior developers.
    • Fansome — social networking app (9 months): owned the backend end to end with NestJS and PostgreSQL — database analysis and design, RESTful API design, deploying the server to a Linux VPS with Docker, and fixing issues reported by testers.
    • Tingle — social networking app (3 months): Kotlin backend on Spring Boot with Firebase — database and RESTful API design, VPS deployment, unit tests, new features on customer request and ongoing maintenance.
    • Node.js
    • NestJS
    • TypeScript
    • PostgreSQL
    • Firebase
    • Docker
    • Linux
  4. Frontend Developer Intern (ReactJS) @ Maxlancer

    Jul 2021 – Jul 2022 · Vietnam

    Product

Client-facing web interfaces in React and TypeScript — concurrent with the final year of university, adding frontend to earlier backend work.

    • Built and shipped client-facing web interfaces in React and TypeScript, turning Figma designs into responsive, cross-browser UI.
    • Developed a reusable component library — forms, tables, modals, filters — that kept styling and behaviour consistent across client projects and cut setup time on each new one.
    • Managed application state with Redux / React Context and integrated REST APIs, handling loading, error and empty states as first-class cases rather than afterthoughts.
    • Implemented client-side form validation and authenticated routing, and improved page performance through code-splitting, lazy loading and image optimization.
    • Worked directly with backend developers and designers on short delivery cycles and took part in code review — the groundwork for later moving into fullstack ownership.

  5. Backend Developer Intern @ Maxlancer

    May 2019 – May 2020 · Vietnam

    Product

A platform connecting science and engineering businesses with experts; took part in system analysis and design and built the backend.

    • Took part in system analysis and design, designed the PostgreSQL database and built GraphQL (Apollo) APIs in Node.js / TypeScript, with Redis for caching.
    • Deployed the server behind AWS Elastic Load Balancing with a Git-based CI/CD pipeline.
    • Fixed issues reported by testers, troubleshot and refactored the existing codebase for better performance.

Atomicity in databases and Redis: the bug that never shows up with one user

Porting a TypeScript monolith to Go without behavioural drift
